Douglas
Educator and World Traveler
Douglas has lived and traveled extensively around our blue-green planet. Bitten by the travel bug at an early age Douglas jumped into the backpacking scene while studying History and Political Science at university. After graduation he set off on a four year around-the-world adventure that took him to 59 countries on four continents. Based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Douglas teaches history with a specialization in US Environmental History and History of the American West. Douglas holds graduate degrees in Education, History, and Educational Leadership and Policy. When not in the classroom or traveling, Douglas can be found climbing mountains, fly-fishing, backcountry skiing, and hiking with his family.


Lisbeth
Educator and Culture Seeker
While pursing a degree in Education at university, Lisbeth woke up one day and found herself living and studying in Galway, Ireland. While abroad she gained a deep appreciation for cultural exchange, and thus started her journey of exploring our blue-green planet. After extensive backing trips around Europe, Lisbeth moved to Mexico to pursue a career in International Education. While there she earned a Masters Degree in Education, and developed a love for all things Latin America. Lisbeth is an elementary school educator who specializes in English Language Development. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Lisbeth appreciates spending time in nature with her family and globetrotting at every possible opportunity.
Bernadette
Superstar Student and Nature Advocate
Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Bernadette is a self-described "beach girl." A jovial and clever young lady, Bernadette spends her days exploring and analyzing our blue-green planet. Bernadette's first wilderness backpacking trip was at three months old, and at age two she embarked on her first European backpacking trip. When not learning or traveling, Bernadette enjoys skiing, playing the piano, mountain biking, and gymnastics.
